About the event
Whether you sing, play an instrument, or compose, and no matter your genre (classical, jazz, pop, world music, rap...) or experience level, this workshop weekend is for you!
You don't have to be studying music at school - if you are making music at home, this is a great chance to meet other young musicians.
On the 30th and 31st of October, 12 UC music students and two teachers will be running workshops for high-school-age young people.
On the Sunday, you can perform either your own piece, or with the students, or both, at a variety concert that you can invite your friends and family to.
There will be singers, songwriters, composers, percussionists, pianists, flute players, string players, recorder players and more - all excited to be coming to meet some West Coast students, to have conversations about music and to support you with your music process.
