About the event
Māwhera Youth Voice is open to ALL youth of the Grey District who want their voice to be heard in our community!
Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, at Art Soup.
MY Voice has made an impact in the Grey District & nationally, by getting local youth voice into Grey District's Art Strategy and Play, Active Recreation and Sport Strategy, the Grey District Arts Strategy, and inputting into the Ministry of Youth Development's Youth Plan, as well as getting a youth health and wellbeing service going in Greymouth.
Getting involved with MY Voice can mean you get to attend local and national youth forums and training, and to help plan and enjoy events that youth of the district can take part in. Past events include Pink Shirt Day, Youth Night Market, youth open mic nights, Festival for the Future, Involve! Youth Conference, and more!
