Requirements:
● (Optional) A laptop that meets blenders minimum hardware requirements
● (Optional) A digital USB/Bluetooth drawing tablet capable of working with a computer
● Registration is required as spaces are limited
Blender is a versatile tool that is used heavily in industry for character design, animation, advertising, game design, motion graphics, cgi and filmmaking and is a great way to learn the basics of 3D modelling for anything from applied CAD to digital art.
This workshop will take you through the basics of using the design software Blender to create digital art.
You will be able to choose from multiple styles of artwork and even create a short looping animation. Your creations will be rendered after the workshop and shared with you via email
The workshop is free to attend for youth aged 14yrs to 25yrs (registration is required as spaces are limited)
