About the event
This is the third workshop series offered by Grey District Youth Trust and Lorna Lay-Flurrie. By popular request, we will learn about landscapes.
The course is aimed at youth aged 12 to 24. It is a free course that runs for term 3, 2022.
Times: Weekly - Thursdays 4-5.30pm at the Left Bank Art Gallery Greymouth.
All materials are provided. Places are limited so registration is highly recommended.
Course Aims:
- Encourage students to widen their skill sets and enjoy making art works and the development of their own personal style.
- To use sketches as a basis for art works.
- To explore various watercolour and shading techniques.
- To look at and appreciate the work of established modern and historical landscape artists.
